Help Wanted
At the present time the orchestra has need for the following instrumentalists:
- Violin
- Viola
- String Bass
- Oboe
- Bassoon
- French Horn

(We need fine, Romanian string players.) Romanians know that "Celi", was a great Romanian conductors and a source of national pride for Romanians.
The Music Director of the Columbia County Civic Orchestra wants Romanian string players in his orchestra. We have no money to offer at this time, but he will help you find work or whatever to discover you and get you here. In Maestro Nordan's opinion, (echoed by not only Romanians but international musicians worldwide), Romanian string players (especially violinists and violists), are the BEST IN THE WORLD. Rob Nordan wants fine Romanian musicians here in Augusta, Georgia to play for him in his orchestra. In his travels, even the most modest of students that he has heard play in Romania are THE BEST collectively he has ever heard!!! There is a certain innate characteristic in their playing that is aesthetically the best he has ever heard. He wants to find every possible Romanian available in Augusta, Georgia...in Georgia...in the Southeast US...and in the United States...to come and play the violin or viola...to come and play.
